Hello Gorgeous!
Written by Nick Havercroft, 18.03.2010

Hey there, welcome to the web site of GREEN EARTH AFRICA. Everybody is welcome to our environmentally friendly web site. We care who you are and value any comments and advice you may have for our site and operations, CEO’s, Mums, Dads, Boys, Girls, teachers, we hope that through our site you can join in our efforts to help save this beautiful planet of ours, no matter how small your contribution, it may be for a large corporation, for personal reasons, or even a gift. From big corporations to the smallest kid, most of us are able to help in saving the planet, even in the smallest way. We don’t care what you do, unless you’re a bad person and destroying the environment! Everybody is welcome to our web site, we hope you enjoy what we are doing and help us along our way to look after this beautiful planet and the wonderful animals, insects, trees, plants, rivers, lakes , seas and sky which we are so lucky to have been blessed with. This is our only planet, and boy are we making a mess of things. Most of our problems are manmade problems and only we can fix them. Do you really think the guys we share the planet with, the giraffe, the elephant, the hippo, the penguins, the polar bears, the whales, the hairy spiders ( I’m scared of spiders, what about you?), the camels and the kangaroos are happy with what we are doing? I doubt it. Do you think these guys are cutting down the trees, driving in dirty cars and causing polloution? Of course not, it’s us who are doing the damage and destroying the planet. Did you ever stop to think that we don’t own this planet but we actually share the planet with all the other animals, fish, plants and trees? It’s not our planet, or the tax payers planet, so who gave us permission to treat it as if we own it? Everywhere you look you will see the damage we are doing to our planet, Mother Nature is angry with us and boy is she sure is starting to show it. Have you seen the big hurricanes , typhoons, cyclones she has brewed, look at what happened to New Orleanes. Or the drought in East Africa and the floods in the Philippines, the failed monsoon, tornadoes in England and the dust storm in Australia, did you see Sydney? Of course you didn’t, there was too much dust to see anything. Do you know what makes it really sad; it is the areas where nobody really lives that are suffering the most, the North Pole and the South Pole, but as we continue to destroy these then all of us begin to suffer more and more, and mostly the countries who had very little to do with creating these problems, places like Africa, suffer the most.

Africa, the dark wild , mysterious continent with the king of the jungle, Simba, the rhino, the giraffe, the crocodiles, the gazelle, the buffalo, the cheetah’s, the laughing hyena (he’s not laughing now, he’s not too happy with us), the list goes on and on. And guess what, that’s where we live, the people of Green Earth Africa. No stuffy suites and ties for us, we wear shorts, t shirts, hats and plenty of sun screen. We sleep amongst the animals in our tents or under our mosquito nets, not in fancy hotels. Our office is in the forests, the bush and at night we watch the stars not MTV, CNN or Big Brother, we are the Big Brother, watching over the environment and our wildlife. We live with the things we care about and who we are helping to look after. No buses’, trains and planes for us to get to work, we live where we work. No burgers or pizzas and fast food for us, no supermarkets or fancy wine bars and coffee shops. But you know what, we love it where we are and wouldn’t swap a thing to be where you are. We have the largest home and office in the world, Africa, why not join us and be a guest in our home? There are many ways you can help save the environment and our planet as we have environmental projects and offsets to suit everyone. Fancy helping to look after the rainforests, the Savanna Bush land, plant new forests, look after the wildlife, give people fresh drinking water and help with medical and education for the children and their mums and dads, then join us, the more you help, the more Green Earth Africa are able to help the things we all care about. Follow our web site, explore what we are doing, participate with what we are doing, come and visit us, we guarantee you will have the most fantastic time. Chose the environmental offsets in which you wish to participate and become a member of our rewards scheme. Collect the points and then we will fly you down to one of our wilderness camps, come and see the elephant and the mysteries of Africa. Come watch and help us in building the largest wildlife conservation in the world, forty five million hectares (111 150 000 acres), with something that big we need all the help we can get. Don’t know what to buy for Christmas or birthday presents, easy, buy environmental offsets for your family and friends, remember, there is no plastic packaging with environmental offsets, no waste, any emissions, and just pure goodness for the planet.

Corporations, you all have a problem, carbon footprints, water footprints, wildlife footprints, environmental footprints, landfill footprints, the list goes on and on and new footprints are going to be invented causing you more of a headace.By working with Green earth Africa we will become your insurance policy against any Cap and Trade legislation, Back to Business (B2B) legislation, and the beauty about our establishment, we put the money where the people and animals mouths are who need it. It does not go into the pockets of traders and bankers but back to the environment where it is needed. Ever thought about holding your board meetings in a place where the only distractions are the noise and smell of the bush, imagine the amount of work you would get done holding your board meetings in the middle of the African bush in one of our exclusive safari bush camps. No need for time out to go to the nearest Starbucks, we will bring you your coffee, Fair Trade African coffee of course! If your corporation buys enough environmental credits, Green Earth Africa will host your company exclusively for your board meetings, team building meetings, or just for a relaxing breakaway in an environment you will struggle to find anywhere else. Imagine going through your company’s strategy and figures overlooking a drinking hole surrounded by African wildlife, a whole new thinking process will evolve from yourselves and your staff, far more creative than the traditional thinking patterns created from meetings in the concrete jungle. Follow our web site, follow your dreams, and follow our dreams.

WELLCOME, EXPLORE, PARTICIPATE,
HELP US CREATE, HAVE FUN

My Warmest regards,

INTRODUCTION TO GREEN EARTH AFRICA

Written by Nick Havercroft, 18.03.2010

Climate change is on the forefront of the world headlines, people’s minds, business’s balance sheets, future planning, livelihoods and habitat. Most people accept that the climate is changing and that we are the main cause of this change. Some people do think differently and will argue that it is a natural cycle which the earth is going through; however, nobody can be certain. What we can be certain is that change is happening and that in all probability we are contributing to this change. And it should be our responsibility to try and help prevent or reverse this change, and we have to do this together and whilst doing this we have to help those who are affected the most from this change. It will be hard to solve the climate crisis, but if we chose to solve it, then there is no doubt that we can and we will succeed.
